Greetings fellow PCBA members – our organization’s busy stretch continues in October with four events this month. First, Allison Piper Geber and the Public Relations Committee did a fantastic job with Career Spark on October 1st and 2nd . Our volunteers represented the PCBA well before thousands of local students. Second, I am writing this message on the morning of our Golf Outing at Weaver Ridge. We are set to have the most-attended golf outing since 2017 and to enjoy a beautiful “fall” day with temperatures in the upper 80s. Thank you to Golf Chair Adam Casson for your efforts in organizing and to all our sponsors and attendees. Our next Coffee with the Bar is on October 10th at 8:00 a.m. at Ardor (301 Southwest Water Street). If you haven’t been to Ardor yet, you have to come for the pastries alone—the fellowship with your Bar colleagues is just a plus. We would love to have a big turnout this month. Thank you to our Coffee committee, Beverly Fratto, Rich Zuckerman, and Mike Fleming, for shepherding this new monthly social activity. Finally, the 22nd Annual Diversity Luncheon is on October 29th and registration is open. This is one of our most important luncheons of the year. Please come out and support our Bar Association’s diversity mission and scholarship. Thank you to Chair Ashley Broadstone and the Diversity Committee for your work. Please sign up at www.peoriabar.org.
Sincerely,
